Baby’s 1st Autumn

There is nothing more precious than a baby’s first autumn and holiday season. It is a time of change, joy, wonder, and gratitude for the gift of and cycle of life. And there’s absolutely no better way to celebrate the newest addition to your growing family than a photoshoot… I mean, in my humble and, perhaps, slightly biased opinion. ;-)
That’s what I had the pleasure of doing with the lovely Robinson family. Parents, M and B, wanted to capture baby M’s first autumn and holiday season with her grandparents, aunts, and uncle. We met at Ann and Jim Goodnight Museum Park with fall colors just past peak and just starting to turn from orange and gold to equally handsome yet more subtle shades of copper and bronze. The scenery was stunning as the sun set over the park’s upper meadow, but the family was even more so.
They were an excellent bunch to work with. The playful banter among the mother and aunties (all siblings) was top-notch fun and showed their unique personalities and bond. Grandma and grandpa were so proud of baby M, who was maybe a little confused at times (can’t blame her, everything being so new), maybe a little overwhelmed at times, but when she smiled, the whole world lit up. I was very thankful for this opportunity to capture this growing family.
