Just the Two of Us

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a mother, M, and daughter, G, during the golden hour in North Cary Park in early autumn. The leaves were just beginning to turn but the weather was still mild. It was a blast. They were natural models and excited to try new poses. The photos turned out great. I wish I could take credit for some of my favorite frames from this session, but nah. The daughter, G, knew just what she wanted to do and where in the park she wanted to do it. She had a vision and made it a reality. This was her session. I was just the dude with the camera. 😆 Too cool and too fun!
I want to encourage readers not to sleep on the mother/daughter photo session! It’s a fun way to spend some quality time together while also capturing your unique bond at this special time in your lives. Thank you so much to M and G for inviting me to shoot their session. I love all my clients equally but this session was an absolute blast and one of my very favorite. The interplay of their personalities, the bright and positive vibes, the confidence and willingness to take risks and experiment with looks and light… it was the best time.
